Mehedi holds both an LL.B (Hons.) and an LL.M from Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU), graduating with strong academic distinctions and a deep-rooted background in legal research and academic writing. A decorated mooter, coach, and former Vice President of the JKKNIU Moot Court Society, he represented Bangladesh globally as a finalist and alumnus of the prestigious 47th Jean-Pictet Competition in International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Professionally committed to the global arbitration community, Mehedi is a member of the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre (YSIAC) and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre's young practitioners group (Young HKIAC).
